Inspired by Jill Greenberg's signature lighting technique, I turned a slow day into a fun day by running around the XPrize offices and shooting portraits of friends. Organically this led to getting some great images which looked even better when contrasted against each other having one in color and the other in black & white. There was something about the dicotomy of the opposing treatments which intrigued me. This in turn lead to the "Character Cards" where I added some typographical information over the photos to tell us a bit more about the people behind XPrize. An example is down below.
